# The UCP schemas, vendored

Copied unchanged from `https://ucp.dev/2026-08-25/schemas/`, release 2026-08-25 of the Universal
Commerce Protocol, on 2026-09-25, with every `$id` kept and each file at the path its `$id` names
under that prefix: `shopping/catalog_search.json` and `shopping/catalog_lookup.json`, every schema
they reference, and `common/types/error_response.json`, the Error Response that get_product
answers when an id resolves to nothing (the MCP binding's `catalog_get_product_result`). The
seller's tests validate every catalog answer against them (`test/ucp-catalog.test.mjs`,
`ucp-profile.md` §8). Apache-2.0, as the source ("Copyright 2026 UCP Authors").

UCP amends a dated release in place when it backports a change (Overview, Component Versioning
and Release Snapshots), so this is the release as served that day. Regenerate by fetching the
same closure again from those URLs; do not edit here.
